SIW is more than just a bike club - we're family too!

Many of you know that I was riding the Hope Century on September 17 when I went down after hitting gravel. I have since been diagnosed with two fractures of my pelvis.

To say that my SIW family came to my aid is putting it mildly.

Instead of asking what they could do, I would get calls saying that this one or that one was bringing dinner and asking what day would be best.  I also received many calls saying they were stopping by and did I need anything.  SIW is the best!  With an 8 to 12 week period for full recovery, I expect to be healed and ready to go between November 12 and December 10.

Looking forward to being out with my SIW family again!
